Still in the spirit of Christmas! What Christmas day will be without some Christmas themed songs? I found that Christmas themed songs are usually beautiful, easy listening, and make your heart happier. Each person has their own favorite Christmas songs playlist. Just a week before Christmas! The most wonderful time of the year is coming! So, what are you going to do when Christmas comes? It is said that we have to celebrate Christmas season with jolly and happy feelings. There are so many things you can do to greet this year’s jolly season 😄

1. SEND CHRISTMAS GIFTS OR HAMPERS

Why don’t send a Christmas gifts or hampers to your families and friends? When you have nothing to do, you can search an inspiration to make gifts by yourself. When you don’t have much time, there are so many online stores out there that sell Christmas hampers or gifts package. By sending gifts to families or friends, it means you care for them and want them to celebrate this holiday season with happy feelings.

2. SEND CHRISTMAS CARDS

Nowadays, Christmas cards are forgotten. People send greetings by their smart phone or just posting it to social media. However, once in a while, it also fun to be back to the past when people still diligently sending greeting cards to each other. You can make the cards by yourself or just simply buy it in the bookstore. 

3. TAKE A VACATION AT ANOTHER COUNTRIES

Christmas means holiday season, take this chance to exploring another countries. There are some countries that really beautiful with its Christmas decorations such as Vatican, Iceland, and Japan. Celebrate it with your families or friends by exploring another town, their Christmas culture, and socialize with other people from around the world. Enjoy your holiday!

4. DECORATE YOUR ROOM

Change your room’s atmosphere with Christmas decoration. Add a Christmas tree in the living room would be nice. Pick one corner on your bedroom and decorate it with some Christmas ornaments. You can make your own decorations. With some changes once in a while will boost your mood. There will be some kind of satisfaction when you finish decorating. 

5. CHRISTMAS SONGS PLAYLIST

Holiday season with some Christmas songs playlist would be perfect. While enjoying your holiday, music is definitely needed to boost your mood. Christmas carol or songs usually have easy listening music and will make you happy. Of course, everyone has their own taste of music. I will share my Christmas themed songs playlist next week! 

6. BAKE CHRISTMAS CAKE OR COOKIES

For those who love to cook, maybe you could bake some cakes or cookies for this Christmas. The most popular one for Christmas sweets would be the gingerbread cookies. A cookie with human shaped and made from gingerbread. You can also make another shaped cookie and decorate it to fit the Christmas theme. 

7. DONATE SOME OF YOUR FORTUNE

Christmas season is a perfect time to give some of your fortune for those in need. Your gifts will bring comfort and joy for them. You can donate to some orphanage or volunteering to help children in need. Giving help to people in need will be a grateful form for you. So let’s share our kindness, not only when Christmas is coming, but everyday J

8. CHRISTMAS DINNER

Christmas day is also a time for family or friends gathering. Catching up some stories and just having fun over dinner. Families, friends, delicious food, and happy joyous feeling are the best! Cook your own dinner dishes or just simply having dinner at your favorite restaurant.

Aeon Supermarket, I’m sure you already know about this place right? This supermarket offers a complete package ranging from household and daily needs, eating place, and even pastry shop or bakery. Aeon Supermarket is part of Aeon Mall that officially operated since May 30th, 2015. By adapting the culture of Japan, Aeon Mall attracts people even from another city. One of the things that make people flock to the mall is certainly the eating in Aeon supermarket.

By offering a variety of menu at a cheap price, Aeon supermarket managed to bring many consumers. Aeon supermarket is a very suitable eating place for family, friends, and your loved ones. Many food bloggers and vloggers did not want to miss a chance to taste every dishes offered in Aeon supermarket. A self-service concept becomes an interesting experience for the visitors. Here are some of my favorite foods in Aeon Supermarket:

1. Sushi

This typical Japanese Food is famous for its high price. However, you don’t have to worry anymore because Aeon Supermarket offers a sushi menu at a very cheap price. The price of sushi rolls range between Rp 3,000 - Rp 6,000 only. You can buy fresh salmon sashimi with only Rp 59,000. It is cheap enough for sushi, right? Of course they use simpler ingredients than sushi in a fancy restaurant. However, the taste of sushi in Aeon supermarket is also tasty and the ingredients are definitely fresh. So, if you want to eat sushi at a lower price, just come to Aeon Supermarket immediately.

2. Chicken Karaage and Meat Ball Stick

Who does not interested at fried food? One of the dish in Aeon Supermarket that will catches your eye is Chicken Karaage. Deep fried chicken fillets served with three kinds of flavors, Cheese, Spicy, and Original. The price is not so expensive for a fairly large size, only Rp 5,000 per piece. One more fried food menu is Meat Ball Stick. They use shrimp meat. The shrimp meat ball dough is formed roundly and deep fried. It was savory and you can really taste the shrimp. Just simply spend Rp 10,000 to get three shrimp meat in the sticks.

3. Cheese Sausage

For afternoon snack, grilled sausages can be an option for you. Aeon supermarket also has a menu of sausage grilled with two flavors, black pepper and cheese. This large sausage covered with either cheese or black pepper sauce and then grilled. Me personally really like the cheese one. Price? No need to worry. Of course this sausage is affordable too, only Rp 10,000.

So yes, there are some of my favorite foods that you can found in Aeon Supermarket. However, for those of you do not really like Japanese Food, Aeon supermarket also serves other menus such as Indian and Indonesian cuisine. You can also find other snacks like cakes, puddings, and Indonesian traditional cakes. So, what do you waiting for? Let's taste a variety of dishes in Aeon Supermarket. 

Bangkok became one of the favorite destinations for travelers. Cost of life that fairly cheap, shopping paradise, street food everywhere, rich cultural heritage and the energy of this city itself. Previously, I wrote some information about the foods that you should try when visiting Bangkok, you can see it here! Now, I want to share about the some places that I visited in Bangkok. LEGGO!

WAT PHO

Wat Pho is a Buddhist Temple Complex and one of the largest in Bangkok. This place is famous for the Golden Buddha, an enormous Reclining Buddha statue. Many tourists curious about the grandeur of this statue. To get into the room, guests are required to open their shoes and wear trousers. They provide some fabrics as well if you wearing a short. The entrance fee for this Buddhist Temple complex is 100 Bath.

Opening Hours: Daily 08:00 - 17:00 (Massage available until 18:00) 
Location: Maharat Road. Close to the river (about a half mile south of the Grand Palace), Old City (Rattanakosin) 
Price Range: The entrance fee is 100 baht

THE GRAND PALACE
The Grand Palace became a mandatory visit if you have a vacation in Bangkok. This palace has a very spacious complex area and was built at 1782. Now, the Grand Palace is still used for constitutional events and also acts as a museum as well as tourist attractions for travelers. The entrance fee to this palace is 500 Bath. The fee includes access to Wat Phra Kaeo, The Royal Thai Decorations & Coins Pavilion and Queen Sirikit Museum of Textiles, and Vimanmek Mansion Museum.

Opening Hours: Daily 08:30 - 15:30 
Location: Na Phra Lan Road, Old City (Rattanakosin) 
Price Range: Tickets sold from 8:30 - 15:30 and cost 500 baht! One ticket includes entry to Vimanmek Palace and Abhisek Dusit Throne Hall.





ROT FAI SRINAKARIN NIGHT MARKET
Well this one is a hangout place for Bangkok's youngsters. Rot Fai Srinakarin Night Market is the second largest in Bangkok. Ranging from foods, a wide variety of accessories and fashion items, to the vintage items can all be founded here. The foods is all so tempting, especially the seafood! When you enter more to the center of this market, many buildings are decorated with vintage concept. At that time, unfortunately a big rain poured down, so we decided to take shelter in an ice cream store. And we found a really delicious ice cream with yakult and Hokkaido milk flavor.

Opening Hours: 17:00 - midnight (Thurs-Sun) 
Location: Srinakarin Road Soi 51 (behind Seacon Square) 
BTS: On Nut (closest station but still requires a taxi journey)

Stores with Vintage Decorations

CHATUCHAK WEEKEND MARKET
Who doesn't know Chatuchak Weekend Market? The market only opens on weekend and really famous in Bangkok. Bangkok means Chatuchak and Chatuchak means Bangkok. Chatuchak Weekend Market is the largest market throughout Thailand. There are about 8.000 stalls here. This weekend market also sells anything from street foods, cafes, restaurants, accessories, clothes, souvenirs and you can even find plants or flowers here. Each category has its own area. I think one day is not enough to explore this large market.

Opening Hours: Saturdays and Sundays, 09:00 - 18:00, and Fridays 18:00 - 24:00. Plant sections are also open on Wednesdays and Thursdays, from 07:00 - 18:00. 

Damnoen Saduak Floating market is actually not in Bangkok. It should be about 2 to 2.5 hours from Bangkok to Damnoen Saduak Floating Market by car. The distance is almost the same like Jakarta to Bandung. Actually, this floating market kind of disappointing for me. In addition to touring and boat rental prices that fairly expensive, this floating market is also deserted. It really different from what I imagine of a floating market. 

By Bus: There are public buses leaving from the Southern Bus Terminal every 40 minutes from 06.00 hrs. onwards. Damnoen Saduak in Ratchaburi about 109 kilometres south of Bangkok or approximately 2 hours drive. Fare is around Baht 50 one way. The most suitable time to be at the floating market is from 08.00-10.00 hrs.
